There are many reasons that a homeowner may want an oil tank test. Whether your reason is selling a home, obtaining new insurance, or just peace of mind, WEG can provide you with reliable and accurate results.
When you contact WEG for a free consultation, a representative will ask preliminary questions concerning the location and nature of your underground oil tank then set up a time and day for your oil tank test.
On site, our experienced personnel will first locate your oil tank and lines extending into the home.
A hand auger will be used to install 3” diameter soil borings around your oil tank from which the soil samples will be extracted. All soil borings will be extended to a depth beyond the base of your oil tank to provide an accurate assessment of the soil below your oil tank.
The samples will be sent to a certified lab for analysis. Preliminary lab results are typically available in three business days.
A company representative will forward the full lab report for your oil tank test. Our reliable staff is always available to answer any questions or address any concerns about your oil tank test results.
